Dont touch that
Emily and I went for a walk yesterday in the beautiful weather! On the way home I was intrigued by all the beautiful fall foliage that was so abundant in the road ditches. Emily was more interested in exercising while she was out and getting back home once she was done. However, after a few analogies about the beauty of death in the Autumn she pretty much gave up on me. From then on she said that every plant she thought looked nice all she had to say was "Don't touch that!" and I would wade through the grass to get it. I thought it was all very pretty and that moseying along enjoying creation is just as important (and much more enjoyable) than speed walks.
Emily suggested I make a blog post of *our* finds and title it "Don't touch that!". She took the pictures for me and here it is!
I love you Emily!

It is always such a happy day when the beef comes back from the processor. For any of you that don't know, our family sells grass-fattened, antibiotic and hormone free beef. Good for you, your health, and the environment! (we still have 2 left to sell if you are interested!) (402-687-2582)

Okay, that package may look a bit misleading, it is indeed for sale but by the whole, half and split half (or quarter) of a beef. Why not reserve yours today!?

I complied a few pictures that were sheer brilliance and sooo us. (not to say that we are sheerly brilliant by any means though there are a few... :-P )
The Hipps unite for warmth! :D Ok I don't think I have ever heard that one before!
During P.E. the light suddenly began to turn on and off, we all looked to see why and this is what greeted us.
There is nothing holding the broom handle on the other side, it is just his weight and the hole. :-P

For some of y'all finding a simple cute pair of chocolate heels is not that big of a deal. However if you happen to have "Really HUGE feet" as someone so kindly told me it can be a bit of a nightmare. Trying desperately to stuff your foot in to a size 8.5 while searching the 6.5 and 7M boxes for a 10 or even a 9.5W would suffice. Yesterday I dragged the happy couple ( I am doing this for them so it is only fair that they come along) and 3 sisters along to numerous shoe stores in in attempt to find something that
1. was chocolate brown.
2. fit.
3.was cute.
4. was NOT cow girl. ( I personally begged for these but they said no :-( )
and last but not least it would be nice if they were not too pricey.
We ended up finding them (thank you Emily!) at Kohls for almost half off I think.
Personally I liked the box almost better than the shoes. :)
I thought the pretty blue inside was very delicate and classy

I will have to admit I was surprised at the overwhelming response to my last picture post. Since quite a few of y'all mentioned how hungry it made y'all I thought I would post some more in case any of y'all ever wanted to come over for dinner...

"Someone" made pie! Apple pie!
This is our adorable pie maker! No we don't share her, she is not for hire, and she is not of marriageable age either so forget it!
I went to cut the squash with John and he was proclaiming what a big boy he was to be carrying the bowl.
I heartily agreed with him and praised how big and strong he was.
He was thoughtful for a moment when I heard him very softly say to himself "Well, this is the bowl I puked in, but that is ok. It is fine to put squash in my puke bowl. That is just fine..."
Anyone still wana come over for dinner??
